All correct means you are a smart Malaysian. To those who doesn’t know the answer… Find the answer here.
Malaysian are very friendly and honest when come to communicating with other people. The culture here is very unique and the people are very friendly and well-educated. But… Are you sure you are a true Malaysian? These are the wonderful things us Malaysians are guilty of doing. Such as… oh before that I’m proud to be Malaysian because of this…
Malaysian like to add “lah” at the end of their sentence.
e.g. “OKlah”, “go-lah”, “Don’t lah”, “Please lah”… etc… normally to emphasize something.
When there’s an accident on the road… other motorists/car drivers will slow down to watch, including those on the opposite lanes and this can cause heavy traffic congestion on both lanes. This shows Malaysian people very concerned. Men are like male dogs, piss were ever they want! Merempit but rather called it road hooliganism… this is dangerous not just to the Mat Rempit, but to the other road users too.Malaysian like to park their car everywhere that is convenient, irregardless whether it’s a parking space or not. Also a ‘must’ parking right in front of any shops or restaurant because we are lazy to walk for such distance.Malaysian also have lots of culture…
Most important thing you must keep in mind…To take off shoes before entering mosque or homes.Malaysia is a multi racial country consisting of Malays, Chinese, Indians and numerous indigenous people. Malaysians care about food a lot. When they meet each other they say “Dah makan belum?” means Have you eaten yet? Malays and Indian usually eat with their fingers, so hands are always washed before and after meals.Dulu… Protests is not our culture but now… demonstrations are our culture and become Malaysian’s true culture.Every 31st August, Malaysians celebrate Hari Merdeka. All Malaysian have the Merdeka spirit and raise the Malaysian flag in front of the house. Kids too proudly carry the Malaysia Flag as well the country’s flag. You are not patriotic if you don’t carry a flag! Malaysians are loving, generous and charitable people. Malaysians are generally caring people, most possess a giving spirit and are willing to help the less fortunate.Dr Jemilah Mahmood
I believe all the cultures, habits or traditions mentioned should retain as they are. Why should we change our behavior? Who cares, it is another country and culture, everyone is different. After all its not harmful and that makes us beautiful and sexy hahaha…
